Five stages. The fifth is the one that matters.

   Intake and identity verification

   We collect the minimum needed to find and claim your listings: your name and any former names, your addresses for the last decade, phone numbers and email addresses. We then generate an authorised-agent authorisation for your e-signature, which is the legal instrument that lets us act for you under state privacy law.

   Worth knowing

   We verify your identity before filing anything. This is an abuse control first and a compliance requirement second: a removal service without identity verification can be used to erase somebody else's trail, or to confirm to a stalker that an address is current. The check is run by a specialist provider and we do not retain the document.

2. 02

   Discovery

   We query people-search sites across every permutation of your name and location, parse the results, and confidence-score each match so we are not filing against strangers who share your name. We capture a screenshot of every listing we find and record exactly which fields are exposed.

   Worth knowing

   You get this as an exposure report before anything is filed, so you can see what we found and correct us if we have matched the wrong person.

3. 03

   Filing, routed by legal force

   For each broker we pick the strongest instrument available to you rather than whichever form is easiest for us. The routing table is below. For a California resident that starts with a DROP filing that reaches every registered broker at once; for everyone else it starts with a statutory demand citing your own state's act.

4. 04

   Verification and evidence

   A filing is not a removal. We re-load each listing URL and check whether your record is actually gone, then store the before screenshot, the after screenshot, the HTTP response, a content hash and a timestamp. That bundle is your removal receipt.

   Worth knowing

   A removal only counts in our published rate when the page stops returning your record — not when we filed, and not when the broker acknowledged.

5. 05

   Re-verification, every 45 days, forever

   We re-check at T+7, T+30, T+90, and then every 45 days for as long as you are a member. If a listing reappears we refile automatically and tell you before you notice. Brokers re-list every 3 to 6 months, and most of this industry describes its process as suppression rather than deletion — the record is hidden, not deleted, so it does not have to be re-added to come back.

   Worth knowing

   The 45-day cadence is not arbitrary: it matches the interval California requires brokers to poll DROP, so our check lands on the same clock as their legal obligation.

Roughly a fifth of brokers need a human at some point — a CAPTCHA, a notarisation, a phone call, or simple obstinacy. We staff for that fifth rather than pretending it does not exist, and rather than staffing for all of it and charging you accordingly.
