Every month, whatever it says. The only independent test of this industry found the best service removed 68% of listings and the biggest brand removed 27% — and people doing it by hand, free, beat both at 70%. None of those companies publish their own number.

Even when nothing has moved. "Nothing has happened yet" and "nobody is doing anything" look identical from the outside, and only one of them is acceptable.

California runs a deletion platform called DROP. One request reaches every registered data broker in the state, and since August they're legally required to act on it within 45 days. It is the strongest deletion right in the country and it costs nothing.
We walk you through it in about five minutes and we don't charge you a penny for it. Then we do the part the state doesn't: the brokers that never registered, everything outside California, and proof that it actually happened.
