Address Confidentiality Program (ACP)
A state programme giving survivors a substitute legal address for use in public records.

Most states operate one, typically through the Secretary of State or Attorney General. Enrolment provides a substitute address that can be used for voter registration, court filings, driver licensing and other public records, with mail forwarded to your real address.
Why it matters to you
This is one of very few routes that actually addresses public records rather than commercial listings. Broker removal cannot touch a voter roll; an ACP enrolment can.
What to do
Search for your state's programme by name. A domestic violence advocate can usually assist with enrolment, and many programmes require or strongly prefer it.
