Terms of service

What the service is

We act as your authorised agent to submit deletion, opt-out and correction requests to data brokers, people-search sites and consumer reporting agencies, and we record and verify the outcome of each request.

We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. We are not a credit repair organisation. Fair Chance eligibility screening and dispute filing are administrative work; where legal representation is required we refer you to licensed counsel.

What we do not promise

We do not promise complete removal, and we will not. Court records, property deeds, voter registration, professional licences and published journalism cannot be removed by anyone, and our page on that subject is published before you pay rather than after you complain.

We do not promise that a specific broker will comply. Some refuse — our own analysis of the California registry found brokers denying more than 90% of the deletion requests they received.

We do not promise you will not be found. Any service making that promise is misleading you.

What you agree to

A short list, and each item has a reason.

• The information you give us is about you, and you are the person you say you are. We verify this.
• You will not use the service to remove, obscure or alter information about another person without their verified authorisation or a valid power of attorney.
• You will not use the service to conceal a lawfully reportable criminal conviction from a background check, or in connection with a role for which screening is legally mandated — including childcare, eldercare, healthcare, education, security, finance, commercial driving, firearms and federal clearance.
• You authorise us to submit requests on your behalf and to sign them as your authorised agent.

Billing and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from your dashboard in one click — there is no retention queue, no phone call, and no offer you have to decline three times.

Monthly plans stop at the end of the current period. Annual plans are refunded pro rata for the unused portion. We would rather refund you than argue with you.

Prices are as published. If we raise them we will tell you before your next renewal, in an email whose subject line says so.

Your data on cancellation

You keep your evidence archive. You can export it, and we retain it for the period in our retention policy rather than deleting it the day you leave. We stop filing new requests and stop re-verification.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us. We are a removal service; we are not an insurer of your safety, and we cannot be responsible for what a third party does with information we did not publish and could not remove.

This is a real limit and we are not going to bury it. If your situation involves a credible physical threat, a removal service is one part of a safety plan and not the whole of it.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, write to us first — most complaints in this industry are the result of a promise nobody should have made, and we try hard not to make those.
